Centre for Business and Social Entrepreneurship - CBaSE

THE CO-OPERATORS CENTRE FOR BUSINESS
AND SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP

Launched in the fall of 2009, the Co-operators Centre for Business and Social Entrepreneurship (CBaSE) is dedicated to preparing a new generation of business leaders committed to community involvement and sustainability.

Social Entrepreneurship supports causes that are aimed at furthering societal goals. This coincides directly with the vision of the Co-operators who aim to be a catalyst for sustainability, therefore creating social value. With the support from the Co-operators, the Centre for Business and Social Entrepreneurship will play an important role in encouraging community engagement. The collaborative efforts between students, faculty and the Guelph community will support transformational learning and research opportunities within the University.
